Write for Omo Naija Magazine
Omo Naija! Magazine is looking for talented writers, poets, and creative designers.
If you are interested in writing for us, please send us a resume and writing sample,
along with your proposed article. Submissions should be in Times New Roman, 12 font and
single space with at least 500 words. Furthermore, all articles should be accompanied with
pictures where applicable. If you are a photographer or graphic designer, please send in 3-5
pieces of your work, or if you have a web-portfolio send us a link. All material should be sent

Omo Naija on the Move
Omo Naija on the Move gives acknowledgement to motivated individuals who are making strides
and contributing to the richness of Nigerian culture. If Omo Naija on the Move is you or someone
you know, please let us know. In a brief description, explain how you or your nomination serves
as a role model in the community and how their efforts are contributing to build the prestige and
achievements of Nigeria and its descendants. Please send all nominations to

Internships
Omo Naija! Magazine offers internships in various career fields throughout the year.
Internships typically last two to three months and coincide with the academic calendar
(i.e., spring, summer, and fall). Candidates must be a high school senior or enrolled in
either a two- or four-year college program. All internships are on a part-time basis and are unpaid.
Job Title: Graphic Design and Photo Interns Job Description: Omo Naija! Magazine seeks graphic design and photo interns to assist in photo
shoots, and creating cover designs for upcoming issues. Interns must be friendly,
personable photographers who will be available to attend.
Job Title: Online Intern Job Description: Omo Naija! Magazine seeks online interns to assist in content production and
other duties associated with creating content for omonaijamag.com. Interns will be expected to
maintain Ômo Naija database and online services. Expect to frequent website between 3-4 times a week.
Job Title: Business, Marketing, Promotions, and Advertising Interns Job Description: Interns are expected to research potential investors, and sponsors who will be
committed to the mission of Omo Naija Magazine. Interns must be aggressive, and persistent in
reaching out to individuals and private companies, and must be able to convincingly articulate
the goals of the magazine.
